About the Role:
Join Heart 2 Hearts Home Care as a Personal Care Assistant (PCA) in Clayton, NC, where you will make a meaningful impact on the lives of our clients. We are dedicated to providing compassionate, personalized care to those in need, and we are excited to welcome passionate individuals to our team.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance clients' quality of life.
- Administer medication and manage health-related tasks as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
- Document and report any changes in clients' health or behavior to the supervising nurse.
- Accompany clients to medical appointments or social activities as needed.
- Support clients with mobility and physical exercises to promote independence.
- Collaborate with family members and healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a PCA or HHA preferred.
- Previous experience in home care or a related field is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor.
- Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- First Aid and CPR certification is a plus.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Must be able to lift and assist clients with mobility challenges.
